Weatherford Petroleum Consultants AS is an upstream service and technology company within the Weatherford group. We have Norwegian offices in Trondheim, Bergen and Stavanger. The company was started as a subsidiary of ResLab Reservoir Laboratories in December 2005 by David Lysne, Alex Larsen and Erik Nakken. The strategy and plans for the company was formed at Haugastøl on Hardangervidda (see picture above). 

We provide world class consulting services within geology, geophysics, petrophysics, reservoir characterization, reservoir modeling and simulation, rock mechanics, well completion, production technology (well and pipelines) and flow assurance. Our services are performed with leading edge software tools, including proprietary softwares.
 

As a customer, you can either outsource parts of or complete projects related to the above listed services, or you can hire one of our highly professional and experienced staff for your in house field development projects. 

 

The staff today counts 61. Our strategy is to develop a company with 100-150 employees within 5 years. The products will be advanced upstream consultancy and software technology that will be brought to the world wide market through Weatherford's international network.
