Litho-fluid prediction services (2010 and 2011, Det Norske and Wintershall)
Consultancy for use of seismic inversion and AVO in prospect evaluation is provided to Det Norske and Wintershall. This is done both as inhouse evaluations and as a part of the costumers team and software.
ICD (Inflow control devices) modeling, CACT Operators Group, China (2010, CNOOC, ENI and Chevron)
ICD simulations performed on 15 wells in total up to this date (11 vertical and 4 horizontal wells). Weatherford has also delivered FloReg ICDs and screens. ICD simulations was conducted right after the reservoir sections were drilled and petrophysical interpretation performed, and used as a guideline for justifying use of ICDs and as a tool for lower completion design.
Falk discovery study (2010, Statoil)
Evaluation of possible interpretation, geomodelling and reservoir simulation is performed to update reserve estimate. Uncertainty analysiis of static model included.
Chicontepec field development plan (2010, Pemex) Weatherford has been awarded a contract by Pemex to develop the Presidente Aleman part of the Chicontepec field, onshore Mexico. Weatherford Petroleum Consultants is responsible for 2D/3D seismic interpretation, log interpretation, static geomodel development, reservoir modeling and simulation, production engineering, planning of new wells including completion strategies. WFT Mexico is responsible for drilling the new wells.
Gamij field development plan (2009-10, ONGC) Weatherford Petroleum Consultants is responsible for 2D/3D seismic interpretation, log interpretation, development of static geomodel, reservoir modeling and simulation, production engineering, planning of new wells including completion strategies, and planning of new data gathering campaign.
Snorre oil field (2008-10, StatoilHydro)

Bustuchini re-development project (2008, Petrom) A Weatherford team including consultants from Weatherford Petroleum Consultants was engaged by Petrom to carry out an oil field re-development study. Weatherford Petroleum Consultants was responsible for seismic processing and interpretation, core description, petrophysics and log interpretation, conceptual geological models and static reservoir modeling, dynamic reservoir modeling, history matching and simulation of IOR measures.
Visund Oil and gas field (2008, StatoilHydro). Full time reservoir engineer engaged from Weatherford Petroleum Consultants.
Global planning of VSP surveys (2007-10, StatoilHydro)
Full time geophysicist engaged from Weatherford etroleum Consultants to support global operations in planning and follow up of VSP-surveys.
Impacts on Ula from Tambar's use of UGIP pipeline (2007-08, Dong Energy) A team of production engineers and reservoir engineers has been engaged from Weaherford Petroleum Consultants to evaluate the impact on Ula from Tambar's use of UGIP pipeline.
Volve oil field (2007-08, StatoilHydro). Full time geologist engaged from Weatherford Petroleum Consultants.
Frøy Field Development (2007-08, Pertra/Det norske oljeselskap). Weatherford Petroleum Consultants has provided well and core data analysis services as well as full-time reservoir engineer for reservoir modelling and simulation study. The Frøy field is the second field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to be re-opened after being abandoned due to low oil prices in the 1990-ies. PDO was delivered in Q1 2008.
Troll Oil Field (2007-08, StatoilHydro). Full-time petrophysicist assigned to the subsurface team of the Troll Oil Field asset.
Gullfaks Field (2007-08, StatoilHydro). Full-time reservoir engineer assigned to the subsurface team of the Gullfaks asset.
Morvin HPHT Field Development Project (2007-08, Statoil). In April 2007, the Morvin Field Development Project passed the last decision gate prior to PDO phase. Weatherford Petroleum Consultants engineers have worked in Statoil’s project team during this phase and will be in charge of the production engineering discipline until finalisation of the PDO in Q1 2008.
Åsgard/Smorbukk Reservoir Development (2007, Statoil). Reservoir engineer from Weatherford Petroleum Consultants joins Statoil’s Åsgard geoscience and engineering team to work with upgrade and history matching of the reservoir model of the Smørbukk gas-condensate field.
Exploration and Prospect Evaluation (2006-09, Pertra/Det norske oljeselskap). Geophysicist providing regional seismic interpretation services.
Trestakk Field Development Project (2006-07, Statoil). Production engineers from Weatherford Petroleum Consultants have been in charge of the production engineering discipline in the project sanction phase prior to PDO. In addition, Weatherford Petroleum Consultants has performed 3 studies related to: evaluation of core analysis data with respect to water saturation and relative permeabilities, simulation of structural and capillary force dominated spill point, and re-evaluation of free water level.
R&D Projects and Field Studies (2006-07, Hydro). Weatherford Petroleum Consultants expert in reservoir engineering and special core analysis working as senior advisor for Hydro’s R&D Centre and field assets. Weatherford Petroleum Consultants has developed link between upscaling tools and Eclipse reservoir simulator.
Carbonate Project (2006-07, Statoil). Geologist/petrophysicist working at Statoil’s Research Centre to develop a guide for reservoir characterisation and modelling of carbonate rock.
Trestakk, Morvin and Lavrans Field Development Projects (2006-07, Statoil). Full-time geologist assigned for reservoir characterisation work on Statoil’s early phase projects.
Goliat SCAL evaluation study (2006, ENI) A team of reservoir engineers from ResLab Integration was engaged in a SCAL evaluation study.
